Administrative / Biographical History
The British Paper Machine Wire Manufacturers' Association was formed at a meeting on 28 June 1960 . The objects of the association, included, "to further the trade interests of its members", "to consult on behalf of members with Government departments, the British Standards Institution and other organisations" and "to collect and circulate statistics of production and costs". The association was dissolved with effect from 31 December 1976 by a resolution of members.
