This collection comprises two volumes of printed proceedings, recording cases and actions involving James Beaumont Neilson. One volume records the proceedings in the case of J B Neilson and others v. J Harford and others, 1835-1841, and includes a copy of a published paper by Thomas Clark, MD, Professor of Chemistry in Marischall College, Aberdeen, Scotland, entitled "On the Application of the Hot Blast in the Manufacture of Cast-Iron". The second volume records the proceedings in the action of J B Neilson and others v. The Househill Coal & Iron Co , 1842.
