Huddersfield's ''Team of all Talents'' 1914

'Huddersfield's ''Team of all Talents'' won all four cups in the 1914-15 season but the Rugby League formally suspended their competitions for the duration of the war in June 1915. Three members of the 1914 British touring team, including Fred Longstaff pictured, died in the conflict. Information published in 1919 relating to 15 professional clubs stated that of 760 players who served their country, 103 lost their lives.'
