Gus Risman's British Lion's Shirt

Shirt worn by Gus Risman, Captain of the 1946 British Lions team. Gus Risman's team became known as the Indomitables after the aircraft carrier on which they sailed to Australia. Risman, son of a Latvian seaman, played until he was almost forty-four and made 873 appearances, kicking 1,677 goals and scoring 4,050 points. He is a member of the Rugby League Hall of Fame
