Archive Awareness: Dig for Victory! Sidlaw Hills
'Making Tracks' is an exhibition charting the changing face of Dundee and Forfar, Scotland, by following the course of the Dundee and Newtyle Railway. Images and archives from the collections document local industry and institutions, the environment, agriculture and urbanisation, as well as tracing the history of this pioneering railway.
On display is material relating to landmarks such as the Dundee Law and the Sidlaws. Below: Sketches of plants from the Sidlaw Hills and Auchterhouse from Illustrations of Scottish Flora (1912-1913) by David R. Robertson. Reference GB 0254 MS 103/3/5 Kinnear Collection.
