The Festival of Labour was held in June 1962, with most of the events taking place in London. The Festival included arts and craft exhibitions, folk dancing, and a jazz concert held at the Royal Festival Hall.

Feet on the ground, heads in the air. National Union of Boot and Shoe Operatives. 80,000 members work to keep Britain on its feet.
