Ethel Mairet tablecloth

Hand-woven small tablecloth made from cream cotton and eri silk, with a striped border in madder-dyed eri silk, 1930s, by Ethel Mairet: (1872-1952). The pattern is of 'O's and 'M's, with alternating sections of plain weave, and 'over 3 under 3' weave.
