Administrative/Biographical History

In November 1851 undergraduates from Cambridge University formed a independent 'republic' at an inn at Upware, Cambridgeshire. The republic became a 'kingdom' during the 1860s, following the involvement of Richard Ramsay Fielder, of Jesus College. The society was relaunched in 2001 by Mark Valentine.
