H. Martyn & Co Ltd (1960s); furniture designs, Henry Barker, Smart & Brown Ltd (1960s); furniture and interior designs, J.H. Wallond, Wallond Interiors Ltd and Wallond Contracts (1967 - 1992); designs for conservatories, CHC Ltd (undated); interior and furniture designs and label (1958 - 1970s).

Administrative / Biographical History

John Wallond, an interior designer who trained at Harrods, worked for several well-known companies in the 1960s  including Maple & Co Ltd, Fitzroy Robinson and Partners and H.H. Martyn & Co Ltd. When working for Trollope & Sons (London) Ltd from 1960 to 1965 he also designed the interiors and fittings for ships. John Wallond set up his own company Wallond Interiors Ltd and Wallond Contracts in the late 1960s  and 1970s . He continued to undertake furniture and interior design commissions up to the 1990s .
