Administrative / Biographical History

H.M. Tennent Ltd. was the leading West End production management company during the 1940s and 1950s. They worked with many leading actors under contract and producing a series of lavish revivals as well as new plays by such authors as Rattigan and designed by the leading theatre designers of the day. There was also a secondary group for a time, The Company of Four, producing at the Lyric, Hammersmith, London.
