Scope and Content

This archive brings together a rich variety of material invaluable for those studying the history of Leicestershire. Covering subjects as varied as women's and working class history, local politics, immigration and housing, as well as the built and antiquarian history of the county. Material has been digitised ranging from 18th Century trade directories through to video and audio recordings from the last thee decades. The resource can be browsed or searched and allows users to save favourite items.
