Administrative / Biographical History
Dr Sharp was educated at Leeds and Morley Grammar Schools. He graduated from the University of Leeds with the degrees of MBChB, in 1950; PhD, 1957; and MD in 1974. He joined the University staff in 1953, becoming a senior lecturer in 1964. His research and teaching interests were mainly in the fields of tissue culture and anatomy
