Comprises: (1) Photocopies of a letter from Robert Wardropper, Tiumen, to his daughter, 1869; James William Wardropper's identity document, Tobolsk, 1919; announcement of the February Revolution, Tiumen, 1917, Ermak, Tiumen, 2 March 1917; (2) James Edward Wardropper's family-history and photograph album (including correspondence with Terence Armstrong, Scott Polar Research Institute, Cambridge [1969-1973]); (3) Contact prints and negatives of photographs from the foregoing album and James William Wardropper's photograph albums; (4) Photographs and negatives of James Edward Wardropper's collection of Samoed artifacts; (5) Boris Zakharov's military identity-document case; (6) James Edward Wardropper's memoirs of childhood in Riga and Siberia and repatriation to England
