Comprises Rev Lombard's collection of photographs of the British in Russia during the First World War and Russian Revolutions, prison mug, correspondence, and newspaper cuttings on the Russian Imperial family, together with copies of some Sunday newspapers dating both before and after his death

Administrative / Biographical History

Reverend Bousfield Swan Lombard (1866-1951) was chaplain to the British Embassy in Petrograd during the First World War and was imprisoned with other members of the Embassy staff in the SS Peter-and-Paul Fortress in 1918
