Administrative / Biographical History
James Paterson (b. 1885 in Glasgow) emigrated to Brantford, Canada, with his family in 1911. A conscientious objector, he was sentenced to two years hard labour in 1917 and imprisoned at Burwash in Northern Ontario until 17 Mar. 1919.
