In 1984, BBC Radio 4 broadcast a series of controversial programmes by its Religious Affairs Correspondent, Gerald Priestland, under the title The Case against God. They generated a correspondent from listeners.

Access Information

The collection is open to all bona fide researchers, by appointment only, telephone or email a week in advance of your intended visit. Researchers must abide by the conditions protecting the collection.

Acquisition Information

Donated by the Head of Religious Programmes, British Broadcasting Corporation, in May 1985, to the Mass-Observation Archive Trust which has deposited the collection with the University of Sussex.
