Oxford police records, including:  

  • Thirty-four volumes containing reports entered nightly by the inspectors of the Oxford Police between 5 October 1829 and 1 January 1869, relating to the condition of their men and the occurrences on the various beats
  • Police record of prostitutes, 1827-68
  • Six volumes written by Proctors and Pro-Proctors and containing entries in roughly alphabetical order relating to the caution, detention, and committal of prostitutes, 1822-1853
  • Six alphabetical registers, 1831-68, of persons reported to or detained by the University Police
