University of Strathclyde Archives
The University of Strathclyde Archives contains the archives and records of the University of Strathclyde and its institutional antecedents, and many other historical and educational archives.
The collection comprises material relating to the history of the University, its predecessor institutions, staff and students. Collections which are not University related include the Leith Buchanan papers, Sir George Pepler papers and Sir Patrick Geddes papers.
Particular collection strengths include: Higher Education (late 18th century onwards), Economic History, Town Planning, Sociology, early Trade Union history.
Note in 2009, Jordanhill Archives and Strathclyde University Library - Archives and Special Collections both merged with the University Archives.
