University of East London: Library and Learning Services Archives
The Archive collection at UEL was established in 2002 with the arrival of the Refugee Council Archive collection. The collections have steadily grown since with a view to directly supporting the learning and teaching of our schools. There is a particularly strong emphasis on collections pertaining to the study of refugee issues and forced migration, but recently we’ve acquired the collection of the Hackney Empire theatre and the British Olympic Association.
