Powys Archives is located in Llandrindod Wells, and serves as the official repository for the records of the county of Powys and the three former counties of Breconshire, Montgomeryshire and Radnorshire.

We are responsible for collecting and preserving documents relating to all aspects of the history of Powys. Our collections date from the fourteenth century and can be used for all types of research.
