The repository is housed in the Main University Library. The David Salomons Collection is housed at the University's Salomons Campus at Broomhill near Tunbridge Wells.
The main collections are the institutional records of the University itself and of the College of Guidance Studies, which merged with Christ Church in 2000. The other main collections are that of the Salomons family and the David Salomons Society. The Society was formed to further the study of David Salomon's life, career and inventions. The papers include subjects such as Anglo-Jewish emancipation, early electricity, automobile engineering and railway signalling.
